The London Eye is the worlds largest observation wheel standing 135 meters high. A full rotation of the wheel takes around 30 minutes so you have plenty of time to take in the spectacular views from a ride in one of the 32 pods. On a clear day its possible to see almost all of London!

Founded in 1753, the British museum houses thousands of types of artifacts, artworks, sculptures and other ancient treasures from all over the world. They run daily tours and talks to take you through the vast display and there is also a program of special exhibitions throughout the year. Famous objects include the Portland Stone, Rosetta Stone and there are also an huge collection of Egyptian mummies.

Buckingham Palace is open to the public August to late September. Only certain parts of the Palace are open, included are the Throne Room, Picture Gallery, Ballroom and some 16 other State Rooms that are used for State Banquets and entertaining guests. Something else not to be missed is the changing of the guard that happens at 11.30 everyday in summer and every other day in winter.
